About the Role
Reporting to the Corporate Services Manager, your overall responsibilities will be to lead and manage the organisations Health and Safety management system. This position is a critical role within the organisation, you will be required to develop, implement, promote and maintain the health and safety for the organisation as well as supporting personnel to achieve safety excellence.
Duties
Provide ongoing Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) support to the company
Oversee WHS practices, maintain and develop HSEQ policies and procedures
Maintain the HSEQ Management Systems to ensure it conforms to relevant AS/NZS ISO standards
Work in partnership with People and Culture in developing and delivering training programs and inductions company wide
Assist with maintaining company licenses, certificates and registration renewals
Complete internal compliance audits
Preparation of monthly reports to internal and external stakeholders
Carry out required ad-hoc administrative work as required
Positively contribute to improving the companies HSEQ obligations and maintain a safe culture
Skills & Experience
Demonstrated experience in a similar role
Tertiary qualifications in safety or a relevant discipline
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment will be highly desirable
Demonstrated understanding of ISO 9001 and Quality, Safety, Environmental and management systems is desirable
Strong communication skills and be competent across the MS Office suite
