About the Role
As the Accountant, you will report to the Finance Manager and will support the finance team to ensure efficient day to day operation of the finance function. Additionally, you will conduct regular analysis and reporting of financial information for both internal and external stakeholders whilst ensuring compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory authorities.
Duties
Month end accounting processes
Management and financial reporting
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
Year End accounting processes
Assist with preparation of BAS and other ATO compliance reporting
Forecast profitability, cash flow and capital
Other ad hoc finance duties as required
Skills & Experience
Tertiary qualifications in accounting (or similar)
Previously completed, or currently working towards CPA/CA qualification
Effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to deal with stakeholders of all levels
Aptitude for financial analysis
Strong technical skills
A proactive approach and an adaptive, positive “can-do” attitude
Excellent data entry and Microsoft Excel skills
