About the role:
Reporting to the WHS Manager, you will collaborate with Property Managers and the Administrative Assistants, insurance companies, medical professionals local to the properties and injured workers. You will provide shared service support across the national operations with key responsibility for injury management including workers compensation and safety training administration. Occasional intrastate and interstate travel may be required from time to time.
Duties include:
Building and managing relationships with external and internal stakeholders
Administering workers compensation claims and RTW processes
Coordinating activities with stakeholders to manage injured workers with Rehabilitation and RTW across Australia
Collaborating on policy and process development within the RTW space
Supporting training objectives through managing administration of training activities, providers and training records
Developing, maintaining and updating induction programs and training materials
Reporting on workers compensation and training
Administering incident reports in consultation with the WHS team
Identify potential risks and hazards, responding appropriately
Requirements:
A current RTW Coordinator Certificate is highly desirable and advantageous. We ideally seek success in a similar, recent, multi-site role involving experience in Workers Compensation and RTW processes in multiple states.
Success in the role will also depend upon a strong understanding of Workers Compensation and Injury Management legislation as well as sound understanding of WHS legislation, high-risk work activities and training management systems.
Along with your proficiency in Microsoft Office software, you will be able to adapt to situations through your professional and proactive approach in our dynamic environment.
