About the role
Scout Outdoor Centre is in the prime Norwood location and now seek to appoint an Inventory Manager. This role is responsible for all activities relating to purchasing, receiving, and returning of inventory as well as the administration of stock-takes and relevant reporting. As a key member of a small retail team, the Inventory Manager will support functions such as administration and sales when necessary.
Duties include:
- Inventory purchasing and supplier liaison
- Supplier account management
- Reconsolidation of supplier statements
- Process credit notes and investigate delivery variances
- System maintenance
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Resolve any negative stock levels
- Regular planned stock-take and stakeholder liaison
Skills & experience:
With previous relevant and successful working experience in a retail environment, the ideal candidate will also hold or wish to undertake relevant retail or inventory management certifications. Your success will be supported by excellence in verbal communication and high-level accuracy in record keeping. The successful applicant will need to obtain a Department of Human Services Working with Children Check.
