About the company:
Kate Cocks Child Care Centre is nestled in a quiet location close to the beach in the Southern Suburbs of Adelaide. The Centre boasts 5 rooms for the children that are well resourced to enrich the children’s experience. There is a large and newly refurbished outdoor play area that is enhancing lots of natural resources and experiences for the children.
It is a 65-place community-based Centre steeped in very interesting local history and has the prevalent feel of being an extension of the family home. The cohesive staffing team takes pride in providing personalised care for each child and the children are at the centre of everything that they do.
About the role:
Working in the 2-3-year-old room and supporting the Team Leader, you will be a confident individual who enjoys working within a team as well as:
• Contributing to the curriculum in line with the EYLF
• Developing and maintain positive relationships with families
• Maintaining supportive relationships within your team which includes supporting the Team Leader
• Building and maintaining meaningful relationships with children
• Providing a safe and nurturing learning environment
Skills & experience:
To be considered for this role, you must hold a minimum of Certificate lll or a Diploma in children services, a current DCSI clearance, first aid (including asthma and anaphylaxis) and current RAN Certificate as well as a high level of understanding of the NQS and EYLF. In addition, you will have demonstrated experience in using initiative, leadership and outstanding interpersonal skills.
