About the role:
The Aged Care & Nursing Manager is a newly created position that will report to and work closely with the COO of HenderCare. Managing the aged care and nursing service team, you will be responsible for the growth of nursing services, Home Care Packages and Commonwealth Home Support Programme service provision, providing ongoing management and client support. You will identify, engage, and promote service solutions to establish new customers and achieve growth in revenue.
Duties:
- Recommending new initiatives to ensure growth
- Contributing to achieve budget revenue targets
- Implementing a continuous improvement process in line with the organisation’s directives
- Developing and enhancing positive relationships within the aged and nursing care team
- Networking with other service providers to increase the organisation’s profile
- Managing HenderCare Home Care Packages and Commonwealth Home Support Programme services
- Monitoring and analysing the organisation’s external and internal environments
Skills & experience:
The Aged Care & Nursing Manager will be an experienced gerontic Registered Nurse. You will thrive in motivating, developing, and mentoring a team and have the ability to engage and retain staff to ensure service requirements are met. You will present professionally, think laterally and be able to establish productive working relationships with customers that enhance business growth. A thorough understanding of the aged care and acute health care sectors, accompanied by a sound knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and Registered Nurse Standards for Practice, will ensure your success within this critical position.
