Due to continued growth, the Union is now seeking a seasoned Executive Assistant to join their passionate and driven team.

About the role

Reporting to the Public Sector Director/SA State Secretary, the Executive Assistant provides high level support and requires someone exceptionally organised and skilled at using technology to increase efficiency and productivity. With a natural ability to build strong rapport with others, you will confidently learn the fast paced working rhythm of your manager and be able to juggle the variety of competing demands while ensuring excellent service delivery.

Key duties include complex diary and email management, respond to emails and phone enquiries, meeting and travel coordination, writing and drafting of correspondence, reports and presentations, managing office systems and filing, event and function coordination, and other duties as required.

Skills & experience

The successful candidate will have proven experience in all facets of providing high level executive support in a busy and dynamic environment.  You will be highly energetic, honest, diligent, adaptive and above all resilient. Displaying a calm and confident disposition, you will demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and competence. A strong communicator, your excellent written skills will ensure that the various forms of internal and external correspondence are of the highest quality. Advanced MS Office skills across all packages are required.
