About the company & the role:
Operating as a not-for-profit organisation, this disability service provider is a vibrant, innovative and progressive organisation supporting people with a disability, based in the southern suburbs. Due to an increased workload, this organisation currently has a need for an experienced Communications Officer for a temporary contract, through Entrée Recruitment.
About the role:
Reporting into the Senior Executive – Marketing & Communications, the Communications Officer will be responsible for all of the internal communications within the business, as well as the production of company content across various platforms. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Launching of communications initiatives
- Social media content creation
- Producing newsletters – both hard and soft copy
- Role out of communications strategies as directed by executives
- Ad hoc marketing support
Skills & experience:
This role will require previous experience in a similar role with strong communications skills, both written and verbal. A high level of computer literacy is essential as is the ability to build solid business relationships and work to a wide brief. A current DCSI child clearance is essential.
