About the Role
As the Travel Manager, internally titled as Customer Experience Manager | Leisure Division, you will consult with your network of clients, lead to encourage exceptional customer experiences, improve processes to support success and develop and implement strategies for team growth. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will manage a team of Travel Consultants based at the Semaphore branch and oversee the day-to-day operations.
Duties
Grow the team productivity and sales
Create an enjoyable work environment
Train new team members
Develop and maintain management processes and implement for the branch and employees
Strive for branch KPIs and maintain company SOPs
Develop ARIVO’s presence and brand awareness
Conduct regular 1-1 with team for continued development
Consult with clients and develop personal sales
Manage supplier communication including product updates, systems maintenance and resolutions
Assist in efficient response to reviews
Maintain social media presence
Process payments to suppliers and from clients
Reconcile payments
Support agents with financial reconciliations within bookings
Skills & Experience
Recent experience in the Travel Industry and a leadership role
Ideally have an established client base
Strong customer service and sales skills
Effective communication and leadership abilities
Strong initiative and creative approach to problem solving
Demonstrated enthusiasm and passion for travel
Strong relationship building abilities
