About the role:
With continuing rapid growth, Arteva has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Collections Professional, to work a varied commercial and consumer collections portfolio. This role does sit within the Operations Team but is mostly autonomous and provides an opportunity to use your own Collections style and skill to secure recoveries in line with internal and external collections guidelines.
Duties:
Contact customers with overdue accounts and attempt to either collect or negotiate a payment plan within organisation appetite
Manage outbound calls and emails to managing clients through arrears journey in line with policies, procedures and SLA’s
Ability to negotiate payment arrangements in line with payment arrangement guidelines
Showcase your problem-solving skills by reviewing accounts and determining the best course of action for both the client and the company
May be required to assist with customer service overflow (inbound calls and activities)
Skills & experience:
Experience in hard debt collection activity
Understanding and working within RG96 guidelines
Effective time management and organisation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Thorough attention to detail
Professional phone manner
Commitment to relationship management and retention of clients
Strong administrative and procedural skills
Go the extra mile to ensure a positive customer experience
Perform positive negotiation management with good listening and communication skills
