About the Role
As the Business Development Manager, you will manage the sales pipeline and business development management in the region. Your day to day could include conducting on-site vehicle inspections, canvassing for new opportunities, or providing hands-on training to clients. You will use a solution-based selling approach, delving deep into clients' needs to better understand the options MEA can provide. This role offers a unique opportunity to blend technical expertise in vehicle integration mechanics with strategic sales acumen, contributing to the growth of the MEA team.
Duties
Maintain client relationships with a proactive approach
Build rapport and resolve customer issues in a constructive way
Pre-empt customer needs and requirements to capitalise on all lead opportunities
Monitor the sales flow through MYOB
Provide solution driven sales to clients to identify market and application opportunities
Represent MEA at various trade shows held nationally up to twice a year
Skills & Experience
Recent Sales and BDM experience
Strong commercial acumen
Previous experience in the compressor industry and in the sale of minor Capital Equipment
Demonstrated understanding of pneumatics and hydraulic systems
Excellent written and verbal communication
Knowledge of various Truck makes and models (beneficial)
High level of motivation, discipline and the ability to work independently
