About the role:
Strathalbyn Racecourse are looking for a new member to join their Turf Management Team with an exciting entry level traineeship with ongoing career opportunities. The Trainee Track Curator will support the team in implementing best practice track preparation, and the purpose of the role will be to maintain the tracks to the highest industry and safety standards to ensure a consistent and reliable racing environment. As part of the traineeship, you will have an opportunity to complete a Certificate III in Sports Turf Management.
Skills & experience:
This role would suit someone at the start of their career with an interest in working outdoors in sports turf management. We are seeking candidates who can demonstrate initiative and an interest in helping and assisting the team. You will have a strong desire to learn and develop your skills, and an interest in the racing industry will be beneficial to success in this role.
