About the role:
As the University of South Australia transitions to a new program-focused academic organisational structure under the University’s strategic plan –Enterprise25 – an experienced Senior Project Analyst is required to undertake project work in the University’s Finance Unit, ensuring the systems are aligned with the University’s new academic structure. This position reports directly to the Manager: Financial Projects. This position works closely with the Finance Leadership Team, Corporate Finance, Operational Finance, Financial Systems Team and E25 Project Managers.
Skills & experience:
The successful candidate will be CPA or CA qualified and understand enterprise finance management systems, ideally with experience using Technology One.
We are looking for a candidate who has worked in a large and complex organisation and has a breadth of experience across finance. The candidate will be flexible, adaptable, be able work collaboratively within and across finance teams yet also work autonomously and with a high level of experience in the following:
- Preparation and implementation of budget and forecasts including financial modelling and scenario analysis
- Preparation of statutory accounts
- Leading and undertaking financial analysis, data gathering and critically analyse trends, issues, practices and initiatives and recommend appropriate actions as required
- Project design, analysis and system implementation including gathering functional requirements and testing
