About the role:

Working closely with the National Sales Manager, this role will manage wholesale sales in Victoria. This is a frontline sales role, not an office management position. There will be a requirement to represent the winery at events in Victoria as needed.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven, proven hunter. Success in this role will come from driving new business across all market channels with a key, top end account on premise focus. To achieve this, you will be supported in your role by great products, a strong leadership team and a visionary brand. The Sales Representatives in Victoria will report into the Sales Manager – Victoria position.

Duties:

  • Work and succeed under minimal supervision
  • Manage current exposure to high-end key on premise accounts
  • Identify and engage new clients to increase sales across the state
  • Establish and maintain friendly and professional relationships with existing customers and develop and increase a new market/ portfolio of customers to increase sales in Victoria
  • Meet monthly key performance indicators (KPI’s)
  • Build and protect the brand image
  • Have a willingness to get your hands dirty!

Skills & experience:

The job would suit someone who is currently a Senior Sales Representative with a larger, multi brand company ready to take their next career step or a current Sales Manager for a smaller portfolio or single brand. You will have a strong focus on solutions, be well—rounded and be able to demonstrate proven success in selling PREMIUM wine across all channels. With 4 plus years behind you in a similar role within Victoria, you will bring a fresh edge to selling into key accounts and groups, wholesale and direct supply warehouses and target boutique restaurants and chains. This role is a full-time salary position and the negotiated package will include FMV and tools of trade.
