About the role
As Rostering Offier, you will have superior problem solving skills, work collaboratively with colleagues, be comfortable managing multiple tasks and have the ability to re-prioritise tasks throughout the day. Using the rostering software, you will ensure that rosters are reliable, cost effective, flexible and distributed within specific timelines.
Responsibilities include:
- Staff rostering including rolling out the roster and coordinating the replacement of planned and unplanned leave for nursing and care staff
- Ensuring shifts are entered correctly, including applying any leave loading or sick leave, before being processed by payroll
- Documentation management (including staff availability)
Skills & experience
To succeed in this role, you must have previous experience managing staff rostering systems, ideally in an aged care environment.
You must have demonstrated self-motivation, initiative, resilience and problem solving skills.
You must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment, have excellent attention to detail and a 'can-do' attitude. You will be a quick adopter of technology and proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel).
You will be customer serviced focused and committed to building productive working relationships to ensure the success of the organisation.
The successful applicant will require a current National Police Check.
