About the role:
Due to continued and rapid national growth, there is now an opportunity for an experienced recruiter or an HR graduate with an interest in the health sector to join the team. This full-time consultant will assist with recruitment of aged care and disability support workers, home and garden maintenance staff and domestic assistants. This is the perfect role for someone with high energy and enthusiasm that thrives in a fast- paced environment. Your experience in end-to-end recruitment of field staff will see you screening, interviewing, participating in assessment centres, reference checking and ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately in a timely manner. Covid vaccination is a pre-requisite for employment, unless medically exempt. Proof will need to be provided prior to any offer of employment being made.
Duties and responsibilities:
Screening a high volume of applications for relevancy
Arranging and conducting interviews (face to face, Zoom and MS Teams)
Completing candidate reference and screening checks
Data entry, management, and maintenance of the staff information system
Utilising varied sourcing channels to identify and recruit in targeted segments
Providing input into recruitment strategies and contributing to the overall performance of the team and achievement of KPI’s
Skills and experience:
Experience in high-volume recruitment (desirable)
Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) along with a friendly phone manner
Well-developed interpersonal and negotiation skills
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office software programs including Sharepoint and MS365
Exceptional administration skills with a keen eye for detail
Demonstrated team player with a can-do attitude and resilience
Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing needs
