Laser Vision SA has been at the forefront of vision restoration technology in Adelaide since 1996. Laser Vision SA are fully accredited and have performed over 30,000 eye surgery procedures over 20 years, including laser vision correction and cataract surgery. Their modern offices are located centrally on Pirie Street, and patients travel from interstate for day surgery procedures.
About the role:
The Reception / Administration Assistant will be responsible for general reception duties including welcoming incoming patients for booking and admission and greeting general visitors. Duties will also include preparation and completion of operation bookings, maintenance and efficient filing of all medical records, answering phones and attending to patient appointments, and Medicare billings. The role will also have a hands-on element using ophthalmic machinery to assist the doctors, for which full training is provided in house.
Skills & experience:
The successful candidate will be professionally presented and possess excellent telephone manner, people skills, and the ability to communicate with a broad range of stakeholders. The role will require a warm, empathetic and caring nature with patients, coupled with a process-driven approach to work. Attention to detail and multitasking will be essential skills in this dynamic role. Experience in a Medical Administration role is desirable but not essential.
