About the Role:
The payroll team of 5, describe themselves as “the best payroll team in town”, because they care about each other and support each other to succeed. Through iChris (Chris21), the team manages the payroll of 12 entities, with 6 weekly runs, 5 fortnightly and 1 monthly run. This full-time position would initially be responsible for an end to end run for approx. 320 people, with positions underpinned by the Meat Industry Award and the TFI Enterprise Agreement (EA).
Duties Include:
Process weekly & fortnightly payrolls & manage records
Liaise with staff and management re payroll related queries
Maintain leave records & process leave, ensuring no negative balances
Manage encasements, confirming employees have a compliant balance
Learn new systems with an upcoming UKG (Kronos) implementation
Feel secure that the business is growing & payroll will remain in house
