Established in 2000 by winemakers and long-time friends, David O’Leary and Nick Walker, O’Leary Walker Winery and Cellar Door has established a reputation for producing award winning, regional wines at affordable prices. With fruit sourced from other premium grape growing districts in South Australia, they craft small batches of wine, producing elegant whites and full-bodied reds. With continued success and growth within both domestic and international markets, an opportunity is now presenting for a Marketing and Sales Manager to join their team, either working on-site at Clare or from a services office in Adelaide’s CBD.
About the role:
Reporting to the Admin and Finance Manager, this stand-alone critical role is of key importance and sits within a small, well-established team. Overseeing all of the marketing activity for their Leasingham Winery in the Clare Valley, responsibilities are varied and include development of marketing strategy, creation of all marketing collateral, working with external creative agencies and monitoring the effectiveness of marketing communications. Sales experience is also highly desirable as the position will support on-line sales.
Duties:
Developing marketing strategy
Coordinating marketing campaigns
Creation of publications and marketing material
Liaison with external creative agencies
Monitoring and reporting on campaigns
Managing social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn)
Customer service
Manage existing and future relationships with Brand Management and CRM/Database Management partners
Creation of Monthly/Quarterly eNewsletters
Managing eCommerce sales
Skills & experience:
Sales and marketing experience
Events experience
Wine knowledge
Intermediate to advanced use of MS Office Suite and Indesign
Sound verbal and written communication
High level of organisation
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work autonomously and effectively within a small team
