The SA Branch of the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (ANMF) represents more than 21 000 South Australian Nurses, Midwives and Personal Care Assistants and is both a progressive industry body and a high quality provider of education services. They have been the leading voice for these professions for over a century, working together to negotiate positive outcomes for members at local, state and federal levels. Impressive facilities at Ridleyton also host the ANMF Education Centre, a registered training organisation offering training in aged care, nursing and a variety of other health related areas.
ANMF (SA Branch) also operates an inhouse legal firm, Union Legal SA, providing legal services to both members and non-members, and works with other partners to support the Rosemary Bryant Foundation, a charity sponsoring nursing and midwifery research.
About the role
We are seeking a Legal Administration Assistant to support the 4 lawyers at Union Legal SA. The role is part time, working 30 hours per week, 6 hours per day from 9:00am to 3:00pm, (this is flexible), 5 days per week.
Skills & experience
- Experience as a Legal Secretary/Administrator
- Experience using LEAP (desirable)
- Highly developed interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Intermediate – advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Have or be willing to obtain a DHS Criminal History clearance
