With services in South Australia, Tasmania, and now Queensland, and further exciting growth on the horizon, the organisation is seeking an up-and-coming HR Assistant to join their energetic team at their Eastwood head office.
About the role
Reporting to the HR Manager, this newly created role is of key importance for supporting organisational recruitment and HR nationally. A busy and dynamic role, you will work within a small team and support a diverse range of HR tasks. On a daily basis, you will be posting job adverts, screening applications, performing reference checks, coordinating interviews, reviewing candidate paperwork and ensuring compliance with clearances, qualification and visa requirements, preparing employment contracts and other documentation, organising inductions / training for new staff, maintaining employee files and other general HR tasks.
Skills & experience
To be successful, you will have excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to sensitively and confidentially interact with a range of people. Highly developed organisational skills mean you can accurately log and track compliance paperwork for all applications as they move through the hiring process. Thriving off working in a fast paced environment, you will have excellent time management skills and be a naturally computer savvy and empathetic person.
Ideally you will have formal qualifications in HR or relevant HR / recruitment experience.
Please note, the successful candidate will require a current DHS Working with Children Check or NDIS Worker Check.
