This respected not-for-profit organisation is now seeking an HR Advisor to join their close-knit, values-driven team and help deliver people and culture programs and initiatives across the organisation.
About the role:
Reporting to the HR Manager, this newly created role will work closely with business unit leaders to deliver generalist human resources services, support and advice.
With plenty of variety, this role has responsibility for end-to-end recruitment and providing support to leaders across the employee lifecycle including provision of HR related advice regarding policies and practices, supporting performance appraisals, training and development and disciplinary issues, employee contracts and related correspondence, onboarding, as well as supporting learning and development, WHS, workers compensation, and more.
This is a 12-month contract offered on a flexible, part-time basis (0.8 FTE) and is a unique opportunity to contribute to a wide-range of HR related activities and gain further experience in a not-for-profit organisation that performs important, life-changing work.

Skills & experience:
With solid experience within a generalist HR role, this would be the ideal opportunity for someone wanting to gain further experience within a team that offers development and mentoring opportunities. You will possess the confidence to own the end-to-end recruitment function as well as knowledge of core HR processes and interpretation of agreements, awards and contracts.
