About the role:
Reporting to the professional and accessible Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Finance Officer will support the organisations in the management of financial transactions and provision of effective payroll services. This role will complete the friendly and capable team of five and is best suited to a professional who has high attention to detail, is efficient in achieving high quality outcomes and has a flexible and positive disposition.
Key aspects of the role include:
Processing fortnightly payroll for approximately 60 employees, incl. salary packaging
Relevant reporting
Data entry for specified accounts payable and receivable transactions
Administrative and coordination support for grants processes
Fulfillment of legislative requirements and reporting
Processing credit card data
Other related duties as required
Skills & experience:
The successful candidate will have recent experience in a similar role, be knowledgeable regarding payroll processes, have high social justice values and be capable of working independently and efficiently. Strong competency with MS Excel and accuracy with record keeping will be required.
