About the company:
Formed in 1911, the Police Association of South Australia (PASA) is the trade union that represents the professional and industrial interests of its five thousand members, who are drawn exclusively from sworn officers at all ranks of the South Australian Police Force. PASA provide legal assistance, lobby government and opposition politicians, provide members with life insurance and negotiate enterprise agreements on behalf of their members. Due to the current incumbent retiring after seven years of service, a vacancy for an Executive Secretary at their city headquarters is now on offer.
About the role:
Reporting to the Secretary, you will essentially be responsible for diary management, scheduling appointments, preparing correspondence and undertaking relief reception duties. A major part of the role involves meeting preparation and minute taking for monthly committee and management meetings, weekly industrial caucus meetings, annual general meetings and branch meetings. Additionally, you will be responsible for transcribing and assisting in the preparation of documents as directed.

- Preparation of legal reports
- Transcription typing
Skills & experience:
- Previous experience in Executive support
- Exemplary communication skills
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Fast and accurate typing
- High level of confidentiality
