The SA Branch of the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (ANMF) is a powerful professional and industrial organisation representing nurses, midwives and personal care assistants across South Australia. About the role:
Reporting to the CEO/Secretary and the Director, Operations and Strategy, the Executive Assistant provides a range of high-level executive and secretarial support services and administrative support functions. This includes prompt, courteous and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, to ensure the smooth and effective administration and running of the executive office.
Duties:
This full time permanent position is now available due to the upcoming retirement of a long serving employee. A pivotal role within the organisation, you will be required to undertake complex diary management including organising meetings and booking travel and accommodation requirements. In addition, you will prepare draft responses to correspondence, format reports and documents, and prepare MS PowerPoint presentations. With an emphasis on meetings, minute taking and agenda preparation, there are various leadership and committee meetings to coordinate. A strong communicator, you will feel comfortable liaising with various stakeholders and organisations on behalf of the CEO/Secretary and Director, Operations and Strategy.
Skills & experience:
A master of coordination, you thrive in an environment where every detail counts and nothing is too hard. With a high level of planning and ability to think ahead, you understand your Executive’s expectations and always deliver on time, every time. Previous experience supporting a CEO within a member based or not for profit organisation with a strong sense of social justice would make you the ideal candidate for this role. System savvy, you are confident in your ability to use internal databases coupled with the MS Office Suite, including formatting MS Excel spreadsheets and producing MS PowerPoint presentations.
