About the role:
As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will be required to cater to the needs of the Kindy Room Children and enhance their likes and interests through programming. You will have a ‘hands on’ approach to education and your nurturing and calm manner and ability to form respectful relationships with young children will compliment your strong relationship building skills with the families within the centre. Working within a team of four Educators, you will support and guide your teammates throughout successful routines and curriculum.
Duties:
You will have the ability to think for yourself and use initiative with a strong working knowledge of policies and procedures relevant to a childcare setting. Along with the responsibility for the day-to-day running of the room, you will be responsible for writing a program that adheres to the NQS and EYLF and enhances the children’s learning and interests. You will be a confident individual who enjoys working within a team and forming new learning ideas. You will be able to motivate and inspire your team members to provide the best experiences for the children in your care and possess strong leadership skills.
Skills & experience:
To be considered for this role, you must hold a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Education (or recognised equivalent) and be registered with the Teacher’s Registration Board of South Australia. You will have experience working in a long day care service and thrive in such an environment.
