About the company:
Kate Cocks Child Care Centre is nestled in a quiet location close to the beach in the Southern Suburbs of Adelaide. The Centre boasts 5 rooms for the children that are well resourced to enrich the children’s experience. There is a large and newly refurbished outdoor play area that is enhancing lots of natural resources and experiences for the children.
It is a 65-place community-based Centre steeped in very interesting local history and has the prevalent feel of being an extension of the family home. The cohesive staffing team takes pride in providing personalised care for each child and the children are at the centre of everything that they do.
About the role:
Working in the 3–4-year-old room under the guidance of the Team Leader, you will be a confident individual who enjoys working within a team and forming new learning ideas. You will be able to motivate and inspire your team members to provide the best experiences for the children in your care and possess strong relationship building skills. You will be responsible for following the program that adheres to the NQS and EYLF and enhances the children’s learning and interests as well as following daily routines.
Skills & experience:
To be considered for this role, you must hold a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Education (or recognised equivalent) and be registered with the Teacher’s Registration Board of South Australia. You will have experience working in a long day care service and thrive in such an environment. We will accept working towards if you are in your final year of completion.
