About the role:

• We have shifts available now and can range across centres in Adelaide CBD and surrounding suburbs including but not limited to Stirling, Torrensville, Underdale, Thebarton, Morphett Vale, Stepney, Golden Grove, Parafield Gardens, Mount Barker, Hove, Findon and Sturt

• We offer our Cooks the security of consistent work and flexibility 

• You can choose when and where you would like to work 

• We provide support to our Cooks and can help you through the application process, casual shift work experience and permanency (if that’s what you after seeking)

• We have excellent relationships with Child Care Centres and ensure that you are welcomed and well looked after during your shifts

Skills and qualifications:

• Cooking experience ideally within a Child Care Centre, Hospital or Aged Care facility

• Demonstrated knowledge of safe food handling procedures

• Strong attention to detail, ensuring that you are able to meet allergy and dietary requirements

• Sensitivity to the cultural needs of the children

• Cert III in Commercial Cookery desirable

• I Am Alert or Food Safety equivalent

• Working with Children Check (WWCC) - or willing to obtain

• Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education and Care Certificate (RRHAN) - or willing to obtain

• Australian working rights 

• Own transport and willingness to travel
