About the company:
TRHC Group, encompassing Metco Industrial and ThoroughClean, specialise in the design, assembly and manufacture of industrial water blasting and pressure washing equipment. For more than 30 years, the company has been servicing markets across Australia and the South Pacific.
Due to ongoing growth they are now seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive sales and rentals in New South Wales across both brands. This role is heavily externally based and will suit someone who prefers to work remotely and be on the road.
About the role:
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing, growing and maintaining relationships with clients across the state. Every day you will take a proactive approach to exploring new client opportunities (both sales and rental), forging fruitful relationships and building brand awareness.
Key responsibilities include building a strong pipeline of potential sales opportunities through phone-based and face-to-face interactions, as well as contributing to developing and implementing a business development and sales plan in line with short-term and long-term business objectives. You will also represent the company at regular industry events and conferences.
Skills & experience:
You will have a personal drive for success both individually and as a team as well as a forward planning mindset. Extensive in-house training will be offered to ensure you have confidence in the products you are working with.
You will also possess:
- Strong B2B external sales focus and experience
- Proven success in articulating the benefits and value of products or services
- Natural networking abilities
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Computer proficiency, including the Microsoft suite and use of a CRM
