Pulse Anaesthetics is a leading medical specialist practice that is committed to providing the highest quality service and is at the forefront of its field of expertise. They now have an opportunity for an Administrator (Bookings & Accreditation) to join their team.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the HR Corporate Services Manager, this position supports the central administration function of Pulse Anaesthetics, working with the bookings department. A varied, reactive and fast paced role, your responsibilities are varied and interesting. A keys task in this role is to co-ordinate and administer all aspects of the booking function. You will be liaising between doctors, hospitals and surgeons regarding theatre lists and procedures. You will notify all doctors daily of their upcoming theatre lists and ensure all lists are covered whilst doctors are on leave and also for any on call requirements. All correspondence and documentation must be entered, saved and filed and its essential that all communication is recorded. You will also be responsible for ensuring all the doctors accreditations and certificates are up to date and you will liaise with new doctors on the process and what is required. Other duties will include answering any general phone enquiries and supporting other team members as required.
Skills & experience:
The successful candidate will have proven administration experience and have highly developed communication skills enabling them to deal with a wide range of people. Displaying a calm and personable disposition, you will be values driven and demonstrate that you use a proactive approach to ensure that the doctors and the team that you are supporting are always best equipped to do their job. You will be able to deal with sensitive confidential information and have well developed skills across all MS office packages. It is desirable that you have previous experience with a medical/health environment but this is not essential.
