About the company:
Entrée Recruitment is an established, SA owned and operated independent recruitment firm. One of our valued clients have a requirement for an experienced accounts payable candidate for a six month assignment with potential for permanency.
About the role:
You will be responsible for performing the daily processing of accounts payable transactions to ensure that finances are maintained and comply with financial policies and procedures. Preparing EFT batches, processing corporate card payments and coding to relevant accounts, you will be able to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and flexibility in your approach. You will also possess exemplary organisational skills.
Skills:
- Previous Microsoft Dynamics experience
- Perform the daily processing of accounts payable transactions to ensure that finances are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner
- Perform bookkeeping duties for branch offices and subsidiary companies
- Receive and verify invoices and requisitions for goods and services
- Prepare EFT batches for payment in line with NAP policies
- Processing corporate card payments and coding to relevant accounts
- Reconcile vendor statements, research and make corrections of discrepancies
- Reconcile AP balance sheet account with sub ledger and AP related accounts
- Assist in month end closing duties
- Prepare and present accounts analysis
- Resolve differences in invoices
- Reconcile vendor statements, research and make corrections of discrepancies

Skills & experience:
With proven experience and success in managing the accounts payable function, you will be self-motivated with a willingness to commit time and energy to ensure outcomes are delivered within a timely manner, without compromise to attention to detail. Possessing initiative, with the ability to think laterally, will ensure your success in this fast-paced and high volume role. Demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and flexibility in your approach, you will be able to add immediate value to the organisation.
