About the company:

Premium winery in the McLaren Vale region seeking an Accounting Officer to join their team for a 4-5 month contract. This is a fast paced diverse role, suitable for a highly organised, motivated person.

About the role:

This role will support the wider finance and administrative function in a busy and varied hands-on role.

Duties:

• Accounts payable
• Accounts receivable
• Stock control – despatches and inventory
• Reconciliations
• Preparation of journal entries
• Preparation of payroll runs
• Xero Data entry with high volume transactional processing

Skills & experience:

You will be proficient in the use of Xero and have a minimum qualification of a Diploma in Accounting.  You will have strong financial technical knowledge and excellent records management and office administration skills.  With an ability to work independently as well as working within a team environment, you will have an analytical mind, attention to detail and well-developed problem solving and analytical skills.  You must possess a current driver’s license.
