GreenLife Group now seek to appoint an Accountant to support the business, at a National Level, based at their head office in Clarence Gardens, South Australia.
About the role:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the newly appointed Accountant will initially cover a maternity leave, well supported through a substantial hand over. The responsibilities of the contracted position include preparation of invoicing, fortnightly payroll, asset register maintenance and bank account and general ledger (GL) reconciliations. This position will provide guidance in accounts payable matters to the Finance Officer and assist the Finance Manager with end of month (EOM) reporting and variance analysis, Board Pack preparation and analysis and delivery of budgets and forecasts. To facilitate this, the Accountant will liaise directly with various levels in the organisation including State Managers Clear progression opportunities exist for the commercially astute individual.
- Client invoicing through Pronto
- Debtor management
- Fortnightly payroll preparation and all related record keeping
- Bank account reconciliation
- GL reconciliation and related investigations
- Assistance with the EOM financial reporting and analysis
- Assistance with the preparation and review of budgets and forecasts
- Asset Register management
- Review of financing, insurances and suppliers
- Key Stakeholder liaison relating to financial matters
Applications are encouraged from Accountants with relevant tertiary education and ideally also holding professional membership certification. Suitable backgrounds could include employment in both commercial operations and chartered firms however, strengths in financial analysis and business acumen are essential to support success within the robust commercial environment of GreenLife Group. Advanced skills in MS Excel as well as sophistication in its application are sought. Appointment will be dependent on achieving a National Police Clearance and agreement to participation in the GreenLife Group drug and alcohol testing program.
