Leading with Inclusion and Diversity Workshop - Adelaide
Level 5, 81 Flinders Street Adelaide
Tuesday, 28 April 2020
09:00 AM to 12:00 PM
A public workshop by Entrée Training & Development.
Are you ready to engage a diverse workforce and help create a team environment of openness, innovation and agility? This half-day workshop can help you and your emerging and existing team leaders to learn to lead diverse teams with awareness, confidence and inclusion. Learn how leaders can play a big role in shaping healthy work practices and open communication that supports differences at work.
According to McKinsey & Co., "organisations in the top quartile for racial and ethnic diversity are 33 percent more likely to have financial returns above their respective national industry medians. Also, companies in the top quartile for gender diversity are 21 percent more likely to have financial returns above their respective national industry medians".
However, having people with valuable differences at work is not enough. Teams can still feel like they don’t belong or fit in and can’t speak up and share their best ideas. Without inclusion, your people’s strategic differences might not add to the richness of customer engagement, decision-making or business innovation. One of the best ways to make your time and investment in diversity efforts payoff is to support your leaders who in turn can help teams know they can bring their real selves to work and leverage their differences.
