Entrée Recruitment sponsored the CPA Congress 2018 last week, which was held over two days at the Adelaide Convention Centre.

CPA Australia is one of the world’s largest accounting bodies with a large global membership working in 125 countries around the world.  Their core service to members include education, training, technical support and advocacy.  The CPA Congress is a premier event within the accounting and finance professions where members get the opportunity to listen to the world’s best thought leaders, policy makers, innovators and disruptors. Sessions included topics such as data visualisation and data analytics, artificial intelligence, automation, blockchain, emotional intelligence, how to be customer centric, and humanification in the digital age.

Entrée attended with a stand that consisted of a lolly bar and cupcakes – both proving to be great draw cards! We also offered a degustation lunch for two at the d’Arenberg Cube to one lucky random draw winner.

In addition to the fun nature of giveaways, our staff were honoured to attend the lunch events each with fantastic guest speakers. On day one we heard Urban Futurist Stephen Yarwood talk about how our relationship with cities, innovation and technology will transform how we live and work. Day two was a talk from paralympian gold medallist Dylan Alcott who spoke about overcoming adversity to be the best version of yourself. 

The Congress was attended by over 500 registered delegates, and was a great opportunity for Entrée to connect with both current clients and candidates and develop new relationships. Thank you to everyone involved in running the Congress and to all those who attended and made the event such a success. We hope to see you again next year!
